What’s New Around Our West Kelowna B&B

Little Straw Vineyards

The Slamka family who owned Little Straw Vineyards have been long-time neighbours and friends of ours, have decided to retire, and have sold their winery to Kalala Wines, another West Kelowna Winery. They will be converting the vineyards to organic grapes  where they will be introducing a new premium organic label, Dostana Wines. Dostana means friendship in Hindi language. In the meantime you can enjoy their wines under the Little Straw label. They hope to have their patio restuarnt up and running again this summer.

The Westside Wine Trail has a new informative website with all the information you will need to plan your visits, tastings and dining experiences to the many wonderful wineries in West Kelowna with many right in our neighbourhood, and, within walking distance. Visit Urban Distilleries and Shakers Lounge

Check out  this unique new Distillery and Restaurant Lounge in West Kelowna just 10 minutes from our B&B. Enjoy a tasting of one of their many unique gins, vodkas and liquers , enjoy handcrafted cocktails and tasty food dishes to share or, enjoy their weekend prime rib dinner all while relaxing in Shakers Lounge. Take a guided tour and a sampling of their products or shop in their retail store. You can even come and learn about distilling by attending one of the distilling workshops or classes. Outdoor Painting Workshops
